Getting around Atlanta has a variable degree of ease. If feasible, I highly recommend taking MARTA. MARTA offers an easy and convenient way to get to and from the country's busiest airport, Hartsfield Jackson International Airport and around Downtown and Midtown via rail service. MARTA bus service does connect some rail services to some neighborhoods close to the city center. Driving in Atlanta can be described as difficult as the interstates have world famous congestion problems. Some of the surface streets may have poor road conditions such as potholes or metal plates. There are some bike lanes in Atlanta.
